In all my time of being an Avon Representative, I've picked up a lot of tips on finding more customers and making more sales. Some of them are simple and some of them are more involved, but I hope you'll find some tips on this hub for increasing your earnings as an avon consultant.
The first thing is that you need to have samples. Samples sell the products so they are not something that you can skimp on.
You'll also need brochures since this is your 'store'.
I'm not a huge fan of just 'tossing' brochures into yards as they can get wet and ruined or the dog might eat them - that's a waste of your money. You want to do something that will fit with your budget but still deliver the most customers.
Instead think about making your brochure's stand out. Door hanging is one way of getting your potential customers to open them, especially if you add a few goodies (samples, chocolates, beauty tips) along with the avon brochure.
Also writing a friendly note and sticking it to the front of the brochure can increase your customers as you've gone that extra effort. Just write one note and photocopy it however many times you need to.

1. Obviously it goes without saying, but you should aim to put your youravon.com website address on everything you send out: your email signagure, on your avon brochures, on your business cards. The more places that you have it both on and off line the more chance you'll have of people buying through your website.
2. If your youravon.com website address is hard to remember for your customers or your name is difficult to spell then consider buying a domain name to use that forwards directly to your youravon.com website. Domain's usually cost around $10 for one year and could be worth doing as it will make you look more professional.
3. Start a blog and talk about your business and avon products (check with the rules on what you are and are not allowed to talk about) and then put your links through to your youravon.com website so you can get search engine traffic.
